How Electronic Patient Records Works in Cliniq Flo
A deep dive into every capability — built specifically for Indian clinic workflows.
Structured Clinical Notes — SOAP & Custom Templates
Cliniq Flo supports SOAP notes (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan), as well as fully customisable consultation templates for every specialty. Cardiologists get a different default template than orthopaedic surgeons. All fields — chief complaint, history, examination findings, diagnosis, and plan — are structured and searchable.
Dictation mode lets doctors speak their notes and Cliniq Flo transcribes them into structured fields — halving the documentation time for busy consultants.
Lab Reports & Imaging Attached to Visit
Upload lab reports, X-rays, MRI scans, ECGs, and any other investigation directly against the patient's visit. Images are viewable inline — no downloading required. DICOM viewer integration is available for radiology-heavy practices.
Reports from Cliniq Flo's own lab module are automatically linked to the requesting doctor's consultation notes.
ABDM FHIR-Compliant Health Records
Every patient record in Cliniq Flo can be shared as an ABDM-compliant FHIR bundle with the patient's consent — enabling continuity of care across hospitals, labs, and specialists. Patients with ABHA IDs can access their records through the ABDM PHR app.
Chronic Disease & Medication Tracking
Flag patients with chronic conditions — diabetes, hypertension, asthma, CKD — and Cliniq Flo tracks all their visits, medications, and investigations in a dedicated disease timeline. Doctors see HbA1c trends, BP readings over time, and medication adherence at a glance.

Works for Your Specialty
See how different clinic types use Electronic Patient Records in their day-to-day practice.
Diabetologists use the chronic disease timeline to track HbA1c, fasting glucose, medication changes, and body weight across every visit — making annual reviews comprehensive and data-driven.
Cardiologists attach ECG reports, echo reports, and stress test results directly to the consultation record — the full cardiac workup is visible in one screen.
Gynaecologists track menstrual cycle, obstetric history, ultrasound reports, and Pap smear results in a structured obstetric-gynaecology template.
Ophthalmologists record refraction values, IOP readings, and fundus photos in the eye-specific template — enabling longitudinal tracking of conditions like glaucoma.
Electronic Patient Records — Frequently Asked Questions
Can I migrate patient records from my old software to Cliniq Flo?
Yes. Cliniq Flo's onboarding team provides data migration support for common formats including CSV, Excel, and exports from major Indian EMR systems. Migration timelines depend on data volume.
How long are patient records retained?
Patient records are retained for the lifetime of the subscription. Cliniq Flo recommends periodic local backups for regulatory compliance. On-premise data export in FHIR format is available on request.
Can multiple doctors in the same clinic access the same patient record?
Yes. All doctors in the clinic share the patient record pool by default. You can restrict specific sensitive records to individual doctors using role-based access controls.
Is voice dictation available for clinical notes?
Yes. Dictation mode is available on the Professional and Enterprise plans. It uses on-device speech recognition for speed and privacy — notes are not sent to external servers for transcription.
